Byron miscalculated the multiplication of threes in his first ever deep fryed turkey for him and me and every body i know's memory. Thanksgiving dinner at Tuesday Tatoo on Judah with Guilletta's Trouble Coffee next door. She is pregnant with Twins. Byron the best dad and father as well as best friend and lover to G, my friends. Due in late April, she asked me to be Godfather.I said yes. The Turkey was late, but killer good. Lots of people eating thanksgiving at a Grant Wood long plaid table. Pumpkin and apple pies there amongst chocolate cake and people i dont know, a couple more of them i know now. it was nice. a post-modern thanksgiving. with old traditions and new inventions, we make a loving and sturdy home. hope your thanksgiving was a good one. Amen

Grateful pilgrim Thanks
i am thankful this holiday that; i am not insane. Well, not that much insane. Thankful that Pleasant Ann is well and happy with Sphinxy the new kitty. Thankful that Kimmberly is drawing some fine drawings. That Ken is moving out of the Cave and into Cyclone. This will be good for his emotional health. Thankful for Barack OBAMA is our new president. My measured health is good. Grateful for the chance to make good with some of the wreckage of my past. Thankful for cats and nature. The weather Tao entails. I am grateful for Anna's hair and general good will. Thankful for all our Armed Forces serving a difficult at times thankless task. Thanks to the ice cream cone last night and the girl with the nice ass getting off the train this morning. All the souls that continue to be creative and productive and positive and loving. Most of all: thanks to the God of Elijah for kicking me in the head
from time to time. I still don't get the punch line to her joke but maybe some day. Perhaps . Amen

Saddam is safe.
he was bad true. But i still can't help thinking he could of been our best allie. Was W. Only thinking about his buddies the Saudies? Did they make him hoodwink us so the iraq oil would be off the market? A lot of people made a LOT of money. It sure as hell was not the american people. It is said that the cost of one month of our was in Iraq, that we could bail us our of the financial/housing mess. Time to the Iraqis to pay for thier own country. We payed enough. Over FOUR THOUSAND DEAD. Countless WOUNDED Vets. enough! I bet W. Sleeps well, but his grandchildren won't . Amen
